The whole idea of chemistry mystifies me. I’m aware of when I like someone and I’m aware of when I’m sexually attracted to someone, but WTF is this other thing called “chemistry?” I have no idea.

Whatever it is, how do you know it exists until you’ve taken the time to get to know someone? People jump to the conclusion that there is or isn’t chemistry almost immediately, when they have only the most superficial familiarity with the person. I don’t get it. I’ve been dismissed for lack of chemistry numerous times and it’s always infuriated and confused me.
